How to Dial on a Tandberg

Tandberg is a video conferencing technology provider headquartered in New York and Norway. The company designs and markets its own models of video and voice conferencing machines in over 90 countries. Before you can start a video call on a Tandberg machine, you must first dial the number of the person you want to speak to. This is done via the machine's software and is uncomplicated. You should allow five minutes for this task.

  Choose "Make A Call" from the main menu.

  Choose either "Place Video Call" or "Place Telephone Call" from the main menu.

  Dial the number using the number keys. If you are dialing an IP address, use an asterisk symbol instead of periods.

  Select the green "Place Video Call" or "Place Telephone Call" icon. The video call icon shows a video camera with a telephone receiver, and the telephone call icon shows a telephone.

  Wait for a response. The video or telephone call will begin when the line is answered.
