How to Explore Zune

With a Zune player, you can take your entire music collection, photos, videos, podcasts and radio stations along for your daily adventures. The Zune's menus are laid out for ease of use. Once you get the hang of how the Zune stores your media, exploring the content and features will be a breeze.

      Select the "Music" option to browse through the albums and individual tracks synced to your Zune. Music is saved in organized sections like "Albums," "Playlists" and "Genres." Selecting the song with the middle button gives you the option to add it as a favorite or to dislike the song.

      Press the center button over the "Videos" option to look through the videos saved to the Zune. The videos will be separated in subfolders such as "TV" or "Other." When the cursor is over a video, press the "Play" button to launch the video content.

      Choose the "Pictures" title to see all the picture files you have saved to the "My Pictures" folder on your PC. Select an individual photo to apply it as your Zune's background image. Scroll between photos using the scroll wheel on the center button.

      Choose the "Radio" function to listen to FM stations. Scroll left or right to flip through the stations, and press the middle button on the Zune to save favorite stations.

      Listen and view downloaded Internet shows from the "Podcasts" menu option. Choose from the audio and video podcasts you downloaded, then select it.

      Set important preferences such as the time, wireless functionality and screen brightness in the "Settings" menu. Surf through the options using the wheel and select button to confirm choices to make your Zune work properly.
