How to Fix a Microsoft SQL DMO Error

A Microsoft SQL DMO Error occurs when a bulk copy operation attempts to update the statistics for the SQL Server table. While you can fix this error from your system registry, there is an underlying risk of messing up your system or your Microsoft SQL Server settings. The best and easiest way to troubleshoot a DMO error is by downloading the latest service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000. You will need administrative rights to perform this task.

      Navigate to Microsoft Download Center.

      Click the "Download" button one at a time for all the files listed under "Files in this Download."

      Select "Run" when the download dialog box appears for each of packages.

      Review the appropriate "Readme" file(s) and follow on-screen guided prompts to complete the installation.

      Reboot your computer when prompted.
