How to Get a CPU's Temperature
When it comes to computers, heat is not your friend. While all computers generate heat from their day-to-day operations, each machine has a limit. An overheated CPU can damage components, reduce processing power and lead to operating system errors. There are several warning signs that your CPU is becoming too hot to handle. Sudden restarts and blue error screens can indicate an overheated CPU. Before you reach for a fire extinguisher, check your CPU temperature. You can do this in a few simple steps from your computer's BIOS screen.
