How to Install a CF Card in a LifeDrive

The LifeDrive is a handheld portable data assistant designed by Palm. It runs using the Palm operating system. Built into the side of the case of the LifeDrive is a CompactFlash card reader, allowing you to expand the memory that is already present in the device. This reader takes a specially designed type of CompactFlash card called the "SD" card. You can install these cards in your LifeDrive in seconds.

  Turn on your LifeDrive (if it isn't already on). The device being on is necessary so that you can hear the confirmation tone that your CF card is successfully installed.

  Locate the CF card expansion slot on the bottom of your LifeDrive's outer case.

  Insert your CF card into the expansion slot on the bottom of your LifeDrive's case. The label on the face of the card should be facing upward toward the device. When you've pushed the card all the way in, your LifeDrive will play an audible confirmation tone from its external speaker. This means the CF card is installed properly.
