The filter in a Pur Horizontal purification system must be replaced periodically to ensure it cleans water to the best of its capabilities. This device is easy to use in every aspect, especially when it comes to filter replacement. The entire process takes just a few moments.

  Grasp the water filter with both hands. Twist the cap on the top of the purification system counterclockwise to remove it. The filter should now be visible.

  Take note of how the filter sits in the purification system. Pull the filter straight up to remove it.

  Put the new filter in place, in the same position the previous filter was in.

  Twist the cap back on top of the purification system.

  Turn on the cold water and let it run through the filter for a minimum of 5 minutes. This will remove any impurities that may be on the filter.
