How to Install a Whirlpool Oven Rack

Whirlpool manufactures and distributes a number of different home appliances, such as microwave ovens, washers, dryers, refrigerators and ovens. Whirlpool ovens are available in both gas and electric models and offer a variety of optional features, like convection cooking, self-clean cycle and dual or single ovens. All Whirlpool ovens include removable racks that can be removed or adjusted to place your food closer to or further away from the heat source.

      Pick up the rack so that the majority of the bars run vertical to you. The flat side of the rack should be near your body and the side of the rack with the lip should be on your far side.

      Tilt the rack at approximately a 45-degree angle, with the end toward your body above the rack grooves on the side of the oven.

      Insert the lip end of the rack into the grooves, ensuring that the rack is level.

      Push the rack into the oven until the rack falls into the "V" shape portion of the groove.

      Lower the rack so that it is parallel to the bottom of the oven, then push the rack into the oven.
