How to Lace Converse Jams

Converse Jams are multicolored shoes from Converse that were intended as a retro-style graffiti and tie-dye look. The shoe is known for its bright and multicolored design and is available in both high-top and low-top models. Converse Jams are meant to be comfortable and as easy to wear as possible. Lacing them can be done in moments and is not a difficult process.

Slide the right end of a lace through both of the bottom rivets of the shoe so the lace goes through the bottom rivets in a straight line.

    • 2

Take the right end of the lace and move it to the left, sliding it through the left rivet that is one above the bottom ones the lace has already been slid through.

    • 3

Take the lower left part of the lace and move it to the right, sliding it into the right rivet one above the two bottom ones the lace already went through. The lace has just been crossed over itself in the process, which is what you want.

Repeat the process so the left lace goes into the next right rivet while the right lace goes across and through the next left rivet. Continue until the lace has run through all the rivets.
