How to Load Pictures Into a Garmin Nuvi

Loading pictures onto your Garmin Nuvi allows easy access to images of places that are located at the end or along the path of your destinations. You can also load a number of images that have nothing to do with your destination, including photos of your family, friends, pets or whatever else you want to include. Loading pictures onto the Garmin is done in a way similar to loading pictures on a USB drive.

  Insert one end of the Garmin's USB cable into the device and the other end into a USB port on your computer.

  Click "Start" on your computer and choose "Computer."

  Double-click the "Garmin" drive.

  Double-click the "Garmin" folder and then double-click the "JPEG" folder.

  Double-click the folder on your computer that includes the pictures you want to load onto the Garmin Nuvi.

  Click and drag the photos from this folder into the "JPEG" folder.

  Right-click the "Garmin" drive and click "Eject."
