Choose the photo you'd like to use on your T-shirt. Sharpen and brighten the image and make sure the print quality is at least 300 dpi. Add any other graphics or words you'd like at this time.
- 2
Insert the iron-on transfer sheet into your printer. Depending on the type of printer you have, you may need to face the transfer paper side up, or down. Be sure your printer settings are set to "mirror" if your photo includes any numbers or letters--otherwise, they will appear backwards in your iron-on.
- 3
Set your iron to the cotton setting.
- 4
Place the T-shirt on a hard flat surface and put a few sheets of scrap paper inside.
- 5
Position the photo iron-on transfer face down on your T-shirt and cover with a scrap of paper or you might damage the image.
- 6
Press the iron onto the back of the photo transfer. Lift and press, do not slide the iron, but apply even pressure with your iron completely over the surface of the transfer.
- 7
Iron until the entire image has been transferred to your T-shirt.
