Calendar Labs Project

Open your browser and go to Calendar Labs (see References). Choose and click on "Monthly Calendar" under "2010 -- 2011 Online Calendars."

Click "Photo Calendar" on the next page on the left side menu. You will see choices on a drop down menu under "Photo Calendar" including "animal," "birds," "cat," "dog," "flower," "nature," "own photo" and "quotation." Click on what choice you want.

Go to the right side, center of the page where you will see two choices of calendars. "Make Your Own Photo Calendar" is on top. The bottom right center will show the "Animal Photo Calendar" if you chose that style.

Create a month at a time and either upload a photo or choose one of the website photos by clicking on the photo for each month. Choose the month and year from the drop-down menus.

Check off and choose options for "Include week number" and "Include holidays" which will show in the calendar boxes of your calendar. Choose the week starts from the drop down box and your country in the drop down box.

Click on the photo you want for each month by clicking on the photo. A separate window will come up.

Click "Create Photo Calendar" if you are using your own photos. You have two options on how to upload your own photos. Choose a file from your computer by clicking the "Browse" option. Choose a photo with URL addresses from places like Photobucket if you store your pictures there. A separate window will come up.

Save each page to your computer by clicking "File" and "Save" as and save each month in a folder that says "Calendar." Print out the calendar from home or print it out at an office store with glossy paper, one month at a time.
My Calendar Maker Project

Open up your browser and go to My Calendar Maker. Choose from the premium paid membership option or the free option. Click on the blue box in the middle of the page that says, "Get started on your free calendar."

Create an account by clicking on the link. Fill in your email, first and last name, password and confirm password. Click "Next" to complete your registration.

Click "Start New Calendar" under Calendars at the bottom of the page. It will bring you to "Choose your Calendar Type." Choose the full size calendar if you want the photo on a separate page on the top and month on the bottom page. Choose half size if you want the picture and month on the same page. Choose the tear-off option if you want only one photo on a separate page on top and you can tear off each month. Click the "Submit" button once you have chosen one of the three options.

Decide your calendar length by choosing a month from the drop down menu of "Start Month" and click the drop down menu choice for "End Month." Choose the "Start Year" and "End Year" from drop down menu options. Click the "Submit" button when you have chosen what you want. You will then be taken to the personalization page.

Personalize your page with your own photos or clip art. Choose photos from your computer by clicking on the "Browse" button. Write in the line under "Caption."

Click "Done Editing Calendar" button on the bottom of the page to save your work. Make any changes on the "Edit Your Calendar" page that comes up. Look at all of the your calendar information and make changes necessary. Your picture will show at the bottom of the page.

Click the "Save Calendar Changes" button to save your work or click on "Printing tips" to follow the steps on how to print the particular calendar format you chose.
