How to Optimize an Apple Router With Skype

All incoming and outgoing connections in the Skype program go through a single port on your Mac computer. If you have noticed that the audio and video quality of your Skype calls has decreased, it may be because your Apple Airport wireless router has not been optimized to communicate with the Skype port. By enabling port forwarding on the Skype port, you can improve the performance of incoming and outgoing calls.
