How to Overclock in AMD 939

Many AMD processors come built with 939 socket technology. The 939 socket allows processors to support dual channel DDR DSRAM, which means that 64-bit processors can take advantage of large amounts of RAM the computers can contain. Overclocking a processor with a 939 socket is no different than overclocking a processor without a 939 socket. Overclocking refers to the process of adding extra power and increasing voltages to certain parts of the computer's hardware to accelerate performance.
