How to Print a Calendar for a Day Planner

A calendar is really just a basic spreadsheet: it has seven columns, five or six rows, and sequential numbers in each of the cells. Creating your own basic calendar isn't any big trick for anyone with basic spreadsheet experience. However, most software companies that create spreadsheet software take it a step further, and offer free downloadable calendar templates.

  Visit your spreadsheet manufacturer's website, e.g., Microsoft's Excel site (see Resources). Search for downloadable calendar templates.

  Choose which template you wish to download and click it. Download it somewhere easy to find, like your desktop.

  Double-click the file you just downloaded to open it. This will also launch your spreadsheet program.

  Click Print to print it.
