How to Print Vinyl Stickers With the Epson 9600

Vinyl stickers are far more durable than your typical trading sticker. Use vinyl stickers on your car as stickers, decals or bumper stickers. Use them in your backyard to label the food choices for your next barbecue. Your Epson 9600 Stylus Pro is a high-quality inkjet printer, so now you can get creative by making colorful vinyl stickers at home.

      Choose an image for the sticker that you want in a graphics program, such as Adobe Photoshop or Paint. Click on "File" and then "New." Enter the size of the image that you want to create.

      Pick the background color that you want for your sticker. If you don't want a background, click "OK."

      Click on "Text" if you want your vinyl sticker to have writing. Type in text.

      Click on "Save."

      Load sticker paper into your Epson 9600. The sticky side should be face down.

      Click on "Print." In the print box, click on "Media Type." If you are printing in color, click on "Color/B&W Photo." If you don't need color, click on "Black."

      Click on "Mode." Select "Advanced Photo 2880."

      Click on the "Properties" dialog box. Click on the "Paper Source" pull down and select "Doubleweight Matte Paper." Select the size of the sticker paper that you purchased.

      Press "Enter" and then click "Print."

      Wait 10 minutes before removing the sticker paper from the printer so that the ink has time to dry.
