How to Recycle Things for Party Decorations

Throw a greener party by using things that are environmentally friendly or that you already have so you produce less waste. Help contribute to a cleaner planet by being thoughtful about decorating your party venue. It also will cost less.   Add some light to your party space by hanging Christmas lights. They look beautiful and you already have them, so it won't cost a thing.

  Hang paper Chinese lanterns instead of using balloons you'll just throw in the trash once your party is over. You can reuse the lanterns for many parties to come.

  Throw a pretty sheet over your table instead of a fancy party tablecloth.

  Stick beeswax candles and flowers from your garden into glass jars and set them on the table. Bowls of fruit make pretty centerpieces, as do potted plants.
