How to Reformat Philips GoGear

For one reason or another, it may become necessary to reformat the Phillips Go Gear MP3 Player. When the device is reformatted, it deletes all of the information stored on the MP3 player, including songs, recordings and videos. Before the reformatting procedure, be sure to back up the data and media since this will completely erase the device.

  Open the "Songbird" program on the computer. This program is found under "All Programs" in the start menu.

  Select "RAGA" from the side pane menu.

  Select "Tools" from the library pane and select "Format Device."

  Follow the on-screen instructions. When it is required to click "Finish," the reformatting procedure is complete and there is no longer any data or media on the device.
