How to Reinstall a Combined Update

The combined update for your Apple OS X computer delivers software updates for several of your hardware and software programs. This update contains software for your Java applications, battery consumption and terminal services. If your system loses power during an update, you will need to reinstall the combined update to get your system up-to-date. This process simply involves running the software update again.

      Click the "Apple" logo at the top of your "Finder."

      Click the "Software Update" button from the menu.

      Wait for the program to scan your system for software updates that need to be installed.

      Click the "Install" button at the bottom of the software window.

      Wait for the updates to install on your computer.
