How to Remove an Inspiron 8500 Password
Notebook computers are easy to steal if left unattended, making it common for businesses to install passwords on their corporate notebook computers to help prevent thieves from being able to steal valuable data. Unfortunately, it is also common to forget a notebook password, or to forget to remove a password before selling a notebook. If you have a Dell Inspiron 8500 notebook that you are unable to use because of a power-on password, you can remove the Inspiron 8500 password and access the computer by temporarily disconnecting the battery that retains the password when the computer is off.
