How to Restore a Record From APE Files

The Monkey's Audio lossless audio file program uses the APE file extension. APE files are compressed audio files that include error detection and tags that store information about audio files. Without the APE file, audio files may not play correctly on your computer. If you accidentally delete APE files from your computer's internal hard drive, you can recover the files using a data recovery program. Many of these programs are available as freeware you can download online.
