Network with current students, former graduates or instructors at a local community college or university. Request to speak with the director of the Basic Law Enforcement Training or the criminal justice department head to inquire about security job opportunities in the surrounding area. Many recruiters often visit BLET and criminal justice classes; sometimes they request contact information to set up interviews with potential employees.
