How to Send a Check to a Debit Card Account
A debit card is an alternative to cash, checks and credit cards for conducting financial transactions. While it looks like a credit card, the debit card cannot be used to borrow money. The user must have the funds necessary to complete a purchase in an account attached to the card. Most debit cards are issued by banks, although some non-bank financial institutions also issue debit cards. Account holders can deposit funds in person, by credit card or by mail.
