How to Set Up Email With DirecTV

If you want to use an email account in conjunction with DirecTV then you must first set up a directv.net email account. This is an email account powered by Google that allows you to use a lot of Google's functionality such as iGoogle. Once set up, your home page will feature your email along with other iGoogle features. When you first set this up you will need to use your temporary username and password. This was provided for you when you first joined DirecTV.

  Navigate to the DirecTV Login page (see Resources).

  Click "Click here" in the "New User?" box.

  Enter your temporary username and password and click "Sign In."

  Complete the forms to create a new account and username. Click "Finish" when done. You will now return to the login screen. Enter your details and click "Sign In."

  Navigate back to the DirecTV Login page. Your home DirecTV page will now be changed to be powered by iGoogle. You have successfully set up email with DirecTV.
