How to Set Up & Use a Lowrance X96

The Lowrance X96 is a fish finder that functions by sending out waves of sound through the water. These waves bounce off matter and are tracked by the device. This allows the user to view everything underneath the surface. The device operates as a safety mechanism for boaters, who can see nearby debris and avoid it if necessary. It also lets boaters know if the water is becoming shallow to help prevent running aground. Anglers can use the Lowrance X96 to assist in finding fish.

If you opt for a setting that is high, you'll see increased screen clutter, yet more detail. A lower unit setting will provide you with decreased detail but be more clear on the screen.
