Log on to your EarthLink email account with your full email address or EarthLink ID and password on the Web Mail sign-in screen (see Resource). Click the "Sign In" button. Click on "Address Book" icon on the top between the "Write" icon and "News" icon. Click on the "New Group" button above the contacts listed between "New Contact" and "Import" buttons.

Click on the "Add" pull-down menu above the list of contacts and add individual contacts to the group. Choose "Mailing List/Group" from the "Add" pull-down menu and type the name of the group. Click the "Save" button to add the new group.

Go back to the "Address Book," and at the top of the Address Book select the specific group from the "Show" pull-down menu below the "New Contact" and "New Group" buttons. Click on "Name," "Last Name," "Email Address" or "Phone" links above the listed contacts to sort the contacts automatically in the specific group.

How to Sort Names in Groups With EarthLink Web Mail
EarthLink Web Mail allows you to check your emails online safely and securely. Your emails are stored in the EarthLink server, and you can opt not to receive email from particular senders. EarthLink Web Mail also filters out the emails sent by spammers and categorizes every email. One of EarthLink Web Mail's features is the address book, where you can create a new group to use when sending an email to several contacts at once. In newly created groups, you can also sort your contacts in the order of recently added first, display name, first name, last name, email address or phone number.
