How to Sync Microsoft Windows Live

In August 2010, Microsoft unveiled of Windows Live Mesh 2011, an upgraded version of Windows Live Sync. A syncing program stores your PC's files on the 5 GB of space available using Windows Live Mesh, making your files accessible from any computer. Syncing your files requires a Windows Live user to download Windows Live Mesh 2011.

  Download and install Windows Live Mesh 2011 from Microsoft.com.

  Sign into your Windows Live Account using Windows Live Mesh's prop screen. Set your home computer as your main PC.

  Follow the propping windows to set up social networking options, privacy settings and take a profile picture. Windows Live Mesh allows you to sync your Facebook, MySpace and Linked In accounts.

  Visit your Windows Live Inbox. Windows Live Mesh should be synced and ready to use. Add or create new files under the "Office" tab in Windows Live Inbox.
