How to Test the Canon PowerShot G10

The Canon PowerShot G10 is a mid-level point and shoot camera. It offers the benefits of digital photography, such as instant image review, without the high price tag of more advanced models. Testing a G10 simply involves placing the camera in diverse environments and inspecting the resulting photos. Three specifications matter most to users: noise, image detail and continuous shooting rate. Each of these can be tested at their extremes to discover the limitations of the camera.
