How to Update a Magellan RoadMate 300

The Magellan RoadMate 300 is a GPS navigation unit that provides audible turn-by-turn directions and a points of interest database that displays locations like lodging, banks, gas stations and restaurants on the map. On occasion, free software updates are released for the RoadMate 300 that can fix issues with the device or enhance its features. These updates may be downloaded and installed automatically via Magellan's Content Manager software. The Content Manager is available through Magellan's website.
