How to Use Skype With Scala 600

More than 40 percent of mobile computers will be Bluetooth-enabled by 2011, according to industry statistics. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled laptop, you can use the generic Bluetooth audio drivers to set up Skype with your Scala 600 headset. Once set up, you can make and receive calls without lifting a finger.

      Press the Bluetooth button on your keyboard to switch it on, if you have one. Click "Start," then "Control Panel."

      Click "Add a device."

      Turn your Scala 600 headset on and wait for Windows to detect a "Bluetooth headset." Double-click the item and click "Next" to install the device. It will be added to your sound properties.

      Click "Start," then type "Skype" and press "Enter." Click "Tools," then "Options." Click "Audio Settings."

      Click the "Microphone" drop-down menu and select the Scala 600. Repeat this for "Speakers" and "Ringing." Click "Save." Your Scala 600 will be set to use with Skype.
