How to View the Route on a Garmin 2720

Garmin offers consumers many types of portable GPS devices, producing various series for use in air, land and marine navigation. Its StreetPilot series, including the 2720 model, is suited for use in automobiles, to navigate public roads and freeways. If you would like to view your current route, the Garmin StreetPilot 2720 makes it easy to do so.

      Touch "View Map" from the main screen of your Garmin StreetPilot 2720. This will bring up the map view of your current route.

      Touch the green bar at the top of the map view to view text directions for the route.

      Press the "-" and "+" symbols located to the left and right of the map view screen to zoom in and out on your route.

      Touch the actual map to move around the screen. This allows you to view upcoming directions, as well as points of interest along the way.

      Touch either the "Speed" or "Arrival" options to the right of the map view screen to view more specific details of your route, such as total distance traveled, direction of travel and total distance to your destination.
