Under the "Search for Programs" header click "Volunteer Abroad." Choose a "Region" and "Country" where you plan on traveling. Under the "Type of Volunteer Work" header scroll down and click "animal welfare." Under the "Project Duration" header choose the length of time you plan on volunteering. Choose a program or organization to join from the provided list.

Complete a general volunteer application with the organization. The application will be used by the organization to match you with appropriate volunteer opportunities.

Visit your doctor for a physical examination and to get all necessary vaccinations. Ask the volunteer organization, as well as your doctor, which vaccinations are required to volunteer abroad.
