How to Wire a Compaq SR1703WM
The Compaq SR1703WM is a desktop computer that shipped standard with 256 MB RAM, an 80 GB hard drive and a CD-RW drive. A desktop computer -- unlike a laptop -- requires the monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers to be physically connected to the computer, since they are not built into the system. The computer utilizes a VGA video port and provides a PS/2 port for both the mouse and keyboard, although USB devices can be used.
