Consultation
-
An initial consultation is required before any mesotherapeutic treatment. Small injections are administered during the consultation to test for allergic reactions.
Individual Protocols
-
Different protocols are used for different types of mesotherapeutic treatment. The medicine and dosages depend on which part of the body is being treated and for what condition.
Frequency
-
Doctors administer mesotherapeutic injections on a weekly basis at first. When the patient demonstrates improvement, the frequency can be reduced to twice a week or once a month as the condition heals, and injections might eventually cease completely.
Restrictions
-
Doctors recommend that mesotherapy patients avoid taking hot showers or using skin products for a few hours after each treatment. Using stimulants such as caffeine before a treatment is also prohibited.
