Mesotherapy Protocol

Mesotherapy is a cosmetic procedure that injects medicine into the subcutaneous fat, directly underneath the outer skin. It can be used to remove cellulite, rejuvenate skin and help sculpt the body's overall appearance as the patient sees fit.
  • Consultation

    • An initial consultation is required before any mesotherapeutic treatment. Small injections are administered during the consultation to test for allergic reactions.

    Individual Protocols

    • Different protocols are used for different types of mesotherapeutic treatment. The medicine and dosages depend on which part of the body is being treated and for what condition.

    Frequency

    • Doctors administer mesotherapeutic injections on a weekly basis at first. When the patient demonstrates improvement, the frequency can be reduced to twice a week or once a month as the condition heals, and injections might eventually cease completely.

    Restrictions

    • Doctors recommend that mesotherapy patients avoid taking hot showers or using skin products for a few hours after each treatment. Using stimulants such as caffeine before a treatment is also prohibited.
