What Is a Remington CDL?

Founded in 1816 in New York, the Remington Rifle Company has offered several rifles over the years. One of the most popular rifles sold by the company is known as the Remington CDL series.
  • Name Significance

    • CDL stands for "classic deluxe." Many of the CDL rifles take the look and appearance of older Remington rifles.

    Features

    • Despite looking like an older rifle, the Remington CDL series offers several modern features such as steel encasement for the head and receiver and sensitive triggers that are adjustable.

    Varieties

    • Several varieties of CDL Remington rifles exist, from the base model in its 700 series in 2010, to the CDL SF Limited edition. Features differ by rifle, as well as the caliber of bullet used for each rifle.
