  • 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Specifications

    • With a curb weight between 4,547 and 6,628 pounds, the Ram 1500 was the smallest of the 2006 Dodge Rams. Equipped with rear- or four-wheel-drive, the Ram 1500 was available as a two- or four-door truck. Most trims were powered by a 3.7-liter V6 or one of three available V8 engines. A special high-performance variant, known as the Ram SRT-10, featured a 500 horsepower 8.3-liter V-10.

    2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Specifications

    • The three-quarter-ton, 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 had a curb weight between 5,418 and 7,520 pounds. Trim levels included ST, SLT, TRX4 Off-Road, Power Wagon, Laramie and Sport. The Ram 2500 was available with two doors and several four-door body styles, including Quad Cab and Mega Cab. Under the hood of the Ram 2500 was either a 5.7-liter V-8 gasoline engine or a turbocharged 5.9-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine. Four-wheel- and rear-wheel-drive was available throughout the Ram 2500 lineup.

    2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Specifications

    • The heavy-duty one-ton Ram 3500 had a curb weight between 5,958 and 7,468 pounds. Designed to tow some serious weight, up to 16,250 pounds, the 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 was available with two engines. The 5.9-liter turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine produced 325 horsepower and a massive 610 pound-feet of torque. The 5.7-liter V-8 gasoline engine offered 330 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque.
