      The self-described "BBQ'n Fools," a cooking team of three men based in Southern California, have won many awards including the 2003 California State Grand Champions. They also participate in the Kansas City Barbecue Society competitions both regionally and nationally. Considered one of their best-rated grilling spices, "BBQ'n Fools Signature Montreal BBQ Rub" won first place in the 2004 National Fiery-Foods Challenge. This rub is a blend of strong flavors, including garlic, pepper, chilies, mustard seed, coriander and onion.
