Can One Use a Seining Net to Pull Weeds From a Large Pond?

• A seining net is a net that is approximately 32 feet to 1,312 yards, and has weights on the bottom that encircle schools of fish and allow the fishermen to herd the fish where they can harvest them. These nets resemble a fence.

Considerations

• Snags cause net damage. The more slanted the pond is, the better the seine net works. You set the seine up to resemble a horseshoe shape with the bank being the starting and ending points. The most popular way to do this is with a boat.
