Correct Way to Charge a Phone Battery

Charging your cell phone battery is a fairly straightforward process, but there are a few tips and tricks that will enable you to get the most out of your cell battery. There's no need to purchase additional phone accessories or modify your battery in any way. All it takes is using the battery the way the phone manufacturer intended.

  Plug the pronged end of the power cable that came with your cellular phone into an available wall outlet.

  Run the other end of the cable to the adapter port in your phone. These ports are usually on the bottom or side of the unit; consult your user guide if you have problems locating it.

  Wait for the battery indicator light on the charger to inform you when charging is complete. If the phone is turned on while charging, you can view the battery icon to see the charging progress.
