Synonymous with high-end appliances, Kitchenaid offers several dishwasher models with various features. According to Kitchenaid, its dishwashers clean 25 percent better than competitors' models. All Kitchenaid dishwashers receive Energy Star certification, meaning they meet or exceed federal requirements on energy standards by a minimum of 20 percent. Kitchenaid may cost more than other types of dishwashers, but its features make it stand out in the industry.

Appreciate the silence? According to Kitchenaid, their Superba models are the quietest dishwashers in the industry due to their patented WhisperQuiet system. Superba models feature very large silverware baskets, 14 place settings and a third level culinary tool rack. The Pro-Scrub option targets baked-on messes during the heavy-duty cycle. Superbas also have stainless steel interiors and the SatinGlide ball-bearing system for easy rack roll-out. Featuring a 60 minute wash cycle with options for light china, rinse, normal, heavy-duty, high-temperature wash and heat dry, Superba is available with a front wood-panel design.

Kitchenaid Pro Line models are available with stainless steel control panels and feature fold-down tines on the upper and lower racks. The Pro Line's ergonomic design makes it user-friendly, while its design allows it complement the decor of any kitchen. According to Kitchenaid, its trademarked Whisper Quiet Sound Insulation System "is half as quiet as the average conversation." It adds that its EQ Wash System offers top cleaning performance.

The Double-Drawer Dishwasher System allows smaller loads to run often, without using all the energy needed in running full loads. It features a grinding system to eliminate food particles, making pre-rinsing unnecessary, as well the need to clean the bottom of the appliance. The SensorWash option adjusts the time needed for cleaning and the temperature according to the amount of soiled articles in the racks. The SureHold, a mesh bag, holds lighter weight items during cleansing. The additional arms of the ProWash bar aid in more powerful cleaning. If using its Sani-Rinse option, virtually all bacteria is sanitized. Choose from white, stainless steel, black or wood panels. Depending on the model, the Double-Drawer Dishwasher System has either five or six cleaning options.
