Grid Minimum Requirements

    • GRID is a racing game for Windows computers with realistic graphics as well as a variety of tracks and cars to choose from. Just because you own a PC does not mean you can play GRID. Understand the minimum hardware specifications your computer must meet to play the game for the best experience possible.

    Operating System

    • GRID is not available on Linux or Mac OS X. The game requires either Microsoft Windows XP or Windows Vista. Vista users should have the free Service Pack 1 update installed for best results.

    CPU and RAM

      GRID works with the Nvidia GeForce 6800 and ATI Radeon X1300 video cards or later, but you should have at least a GeForce 8800 or Radeon X1950 if you want the highest-quality graphics possible. You should also have a DirectX-compatible sound card. High-end audio cards like the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi will create a more realistic gaming experience.

      According to the makers of GRID, not all integrated graphics and sound cards are compatible. It guarantees compatibility with the following Nvidia and ATI cards: Geforce 6800, 7100, 7300, 7600, 7800, 7900, 7950, 8600, 8800, 9800, ATI Radeon X1300, X1600, X1800, X1900, X1950, HD2600, HD2900 and HD3870.

      You must also have Microsoft DirectX 9.0c on your computer.
