Homemade Flame Vinyls

Use vinyl decals and stickers to decorate your laptop cover, wall or car window. Instead of purchasing vinyl decals decorated with flames, you can construct your own using one of several available options.

• A vinyl decal is adhesive on one side, allowing you to secure the image to any hard surface. Vinyl decals featuring flames connote speed and intensity when used as decoration.

Options

• You can purchase solid color adhesive vinyl at a craft store and construct your own flame motif using red, orange and yellow vinyl, cutting each color with a stencil. You can also obtain vinyl sheets that you can print yourself using an inkjet printer and a digital graphic of a flame.

Considerations

• If you would like to place your flame decal on a car or other outdoor surface, ensure that the brand of vinyl you purchase is designed to withstand the elements. If you decide to print a vinyl sticker yourself, you will have to use multiple sheets if you would like to create a large image.
