How Do You Get to the North West in "The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass"?

"The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" bring the adventures of Link to Nintendo's hand-held device, the DS. Link must search the seas in hunt of the mysterious Ghost Ship that has kidnapped Princess Zelda. To pursue the ship, Link must uncover a number of sea charts that help him navigate the treacherous waters. The Northwest Sea Chart is one of the first charts Link will use to travel across the waters in this adventure.

Get the Northwest Sea Chart from the Temple of the Ocean King, which is located on the island on which the game begins.

Walk back to the dock and talk to Linebeck. Link will pull out the map and show it to the captain. Blow into the DS microphone to clear dust from the map.

Plot a course for the northwest. Your ship will be blown back by a tornado, forcing you to find another way, but a rock wall blocks the alternate path.

Sail to the small circular island nearby and enter the house near the dock. The man inside will tell you that Master Eddo is building a cannon, but it is not quite ready. Eddo has barricaded himself in the other part of the building and the only entrance is from the other side of the island.

Explore the island by following the trail around it. Once you reach the end you can talk to Eddo and buy the cannon, which Linebeck will automatically install on the ship.

Sail to the rock wall that blocks the path and destroy sections of it with your cannon. You can now sail through to the northwest section of the map.
