How to Change the Calender Settings on a Palm Centro

The Palm Centro is a smartphone with features that include the ability to track and store important events in a calendar. The calendar application is simple to customize and allows the user to modify settings to assist with keeping events and appointments organized. The calendar application allows the user to repeat events on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, utilizing an alarm feature and color coding to identify and remember specific events at a quick glance.

  Press the "Calendar" button, located under the phone key on the left-handed side of the phone. The "Day View," "Week View" and "Month View" rotate through, while a "Year View" is available by selecting "Options" in any of the other views.

  Select and highlight "Details" to repeat an event. Choose how frequently you would like to repeat an event from the drop-down menu in the the "Repeat" field. Click "Other" to customize the event to your specific frequency if none of the default options suit your needs.

  Click "Details" on a particular event and mark the "Alarm" field for a reminder notification. The drop-down menu allows you to specify how many minutes, hours or days before the event occurs that you want the alert to go off.

  Choose color codes for specific events by navigating to "Details," then "Category." Open "Edit Categories" and select "Edit." Specify what color you would like for the event and click "OK."
