How to Configure Printers in Citrix 4.5

If you are the administrator of a computer that is running the Citrix 4.5 server, you can configure printers for all of computers that are connected with server. When you add a new printer to the Citrix 4.5 server using the Add Printer Wizard feature. you must make sure that the printer can be accessed by all users. In order to configure the printer to be accessed by all users, you must add the local port for the printer.

      Click the "Start" button from your desktop, then click the "Settings" option.

      Click the "Printers" option, then double-click the "Add Printer" option from the "Printer" dialog box that appears.

      Select the "My Computer" option from the "Add Printer Wizard" dialog box. Click the "Next" button.

      Click the "Add Port" button, then select the "Local Port" option from the drop-down list. Click the "New Port" button.

      Enter the server name of your printer, then select the check box next to the new printer you added. Click "Next" and allow time for the configuration process to complete. Click the "Finish" button to close out of the dialog box.
