How to Connect Directly to LinkStation Pro Duo

The LinkStation Pro Duo is a central drive that stores the data for an entire network. The LinkStation features Web access support, a BitTorent client, direct copy source and shared storage capacity for multiple computers. While the LinkStation is designed to be connected to your network, you also can connect your computer directly to the drive to quickly create a backup of your hard drive.

  Locate the Ethernet ports on your computer and the port on the rear of the Linkstation Pro Duo.

  Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the port on the rear of the Linkstation.

  Attach the other end of the cable to your computer's Ethernet port. The mirroring software will automatically create a backup of your computer on the Linkstation.
