How to Connect a DTV Converter

A DTV (Digital Television) receiver may be new technology, but the methods of connecting it to your TV are just as easy as connecting older devices. In fact, the process is comparable to connecting a VCR to the TV. Installing a DTV receiver does not require you to use any tools or to have advanced knowledge of DTV. The entire process takes only a couple of minutes to complete.

Plug your antenna source into the "Antenna In" port of the DTV converter. This brings the analog antenna signals into the digital converter where they are converted into digital signals.

Plug any end of the coaxial cable into the threaded port on the DTV converter box labeled "Antenna Out." Plug the other end of the coaxial cable into the threaded TV port labeled "Antenna In." This brings the converted digital signals into the TV so you can watch the digital stations.
