How to Disable the Key Tone for the Treo 755p

The keypad volume on the Palm Treo 755p is one of the phone's system volumes. Disabling the volume for your keypad will also disable the volume for other system features such as text and email notifications. Once you've adjusted the system volume, you will no longer hear the tone when you're dialing from your phone. You can adjust the volume to any sound as you desire.

  Press the "Applications" button on your phone. The applications button is the button with a picture of a house on it.

  Click "Sounds."

  Select "System Volume" and set it to "0."

  Click "Done." The volume on your keypad will be disabled.
