How to Disassemble a Nikon Coolpix L18
The Nikon Coolpix L18 was released in 2008 along with the Coolpix L16 that was similar in design but with less resolution. The Nikon Coolpix L18 features an 8.0 megapixel CCD (charged coupled device) sensor. The camera also features an optical zoom lens that covers 35mm equivalent focal lengths ranging from 35mm to 105mm. Before taking apart the camera, you should contact Nikon to be sure no warranty is left on the product. If the camera is malfunctioning, you can also see if a firmware upgrade or recall on the product may address the problem.
