How to Erase the Search Box Options

Erasing search box or form field entries prevents the prying eyes of other users from viewing your previous Internet searches. The second option involves shutting off the Search and Form Field history function. This will eliminate pop-up text as you type. Any form boxes auto-filled in the past will revert back to incomplete status. Turning off other history-based features remains at your discretion within the Privacy options of your browser.
