How to Get 10,000,000 Techpoints on "Virtual Villagers: The Lost Children"

You will get tech points each time a villager successfully completes research in "Virtual Villagers: The Lost Children." You use the tech points to unlock new technology and develop your village faster. Finishing research with a Master Scientist on the highest game speed is worth 36 to 40 tech points each time once you have increased your Science technology to level 3. To reach 10 million tech points you'll have to train a group of Master Scientists to continuously research.
    • 1

Pick up one of your villagers and place him on the research table to begin training in research. The villager may fail often until he becomes more skilled at researching.

    • 2

Watch your researching villager to make sure he doesn't leave the research table. If he leaves, pick him up and place him back at the research table to make him continue his research. A villager who lacks research skill may wander off, but once he becomes more skilled, he will stay on task and you will not need to watch him.

    • 3

Make other villagers gather and stock up on food. When food is low in the village, villagers are more likely to become distracted by worry, which could interrupt research.

    • 4

Place more villagers at the research table once your village has a population of 25 and enough food to spare. Keep the villagers at the table until they reach a higher skill level.

    • 5

Open the technology menu and invest tech points in Science technology as soon as you can. Upgrade your Science technology until you reach the maximum level of Tier 3. This will cost a total of 166,000 tech points to complete. The higher your Science technology level, the more tech points your villagers will earn each time they complete research.

    • 6

Train a group of Master Scientists. This is the highest level researcher in the game, who will always stay on task while researching and gain the most tech points for successfully completing research. This takes time to do, but eventually any villager who continues to research can become a Master Scientist.

    • 7

Run the game at double speed at all times, even when you're not playing it. Your researchers will continue to each tech points.

    • 8

Train new Master Scientists as the villagers do age and eventually die. You always need to keep a research group working at all times. A group of five Master Scientists working consistently at double game speed can earn 10 million tech points in 18 to 20 days.
